IAPMO R&T Lab is committed to accurately testing a wide variety of plumbing fittings and plumbing fixtures, to a variety of standards.

Includes but not limited to kitchen faucets, lavatory faucets, tub/shower faucets, bidet faucets, shower heads, waste fittings, drains, bathe waste and overflow drains, automatic compensating valves, spas, whirlpool bathtubs, shower systems, water closets, urinals, lavatories, kitchen sinks, service/laundry sinks, wash fountains, drinking fountains and bidets.

Witness & Field Testing

Smart, cost-effective alternative to shipping large or bulky items to a test lab. An IAPMO R&T Lab engineer will come directly to your facility to witness testing performed by your personnel, utilizing your equipment and test set-up for your standard of choice. Our representatives work with your staff to resolve any problems, failures, or issues that may arise during testing.

For Field Testing services, an IAPMO R&T Lab engineer will visit the designated site and perform testing to all applicable standard(s).

NOM Testing

Recognized by Mexico’s ema (entidad Mexicana de acreditacion, A.C.) for testing of several categories of plumbing products to the following standards:

NSF/ANSI Standard 61

Covers indirect additive products and materials, including process media, protective materials, joining and sealing materials, pipes and related products, mechanical devices and mechanical plumbing devices. In essence, every material in contact with water from the supply line including valves, piping and faucets is covered.

Several jurisdictions (e.g., New York, Colorado, City of Los Angeles and etc.) now require applicable products to be EPA WaterSense certified. As regulations change, our capabilities of the EPA WaterSense testing ensure your product meets evolving demands.
